Weekly Recap w/ Nifty Fanny
A calm recap email after a rainy Memorial Day weekend and an overwhelming amount of mainstream and random NFT news
Hello,
Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend!
Last week was full with NFT news as usual, covering mostly the cryptoart sales happening at Christie’s and Sotheby’s and other use cases for NFTs: the sales of memes, the first DNA NFT, a new platform for musicians (OneOf), and probably 45 new NFT marketplaces I’ve already forgotten about.
For this week, while I still cover the NFT auctions, I wanted to highlight some longer and hopefully more meaningful pieces of content about artists, such as podcasts, exhibitions and interviews.
Hope this helps with the constant NFT FOMO. It’s easy to get caught up in the overwhelming wave of information, but at the end of the day, you have to trust your own pace.
Take care,
Fanny

Some more details from Newsweek:
“BTC has said it expects more than 10,000 people to attend the event, but Fox Business, which has called the event the largest cryptocurrency conference in history, reports that organizers are expecting upwards of 50,000 attendees. […] There will also be "Whale Day" on June 3—a special event accessible to those who buy the $21,000 Whale Pass. General admission costs $1,499.”
Bitcoin Miami is sold out anyway. Enjoy the rest of your week!
